TRC Concepts' Heavy Duty Awning Mounts are designed to securely mount 270 degree and 180 degree awnings to Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 Platforms. This kit is also backwards compatible with series 4 & 5 platforms.

When Rhino-Rack introduced the Pioneer 6 Platform they removed the openings in the extrusion that allowed for easy compatibility with standard channel nuts. The only channel nut option was Rhino-Rack's Zwifloc Channel Nuts which are only available with M6 thread.

TRC Concepts has engineered the only drop-in solution for Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 platforms that is available with M6, M8 and M10 threads. Like Zwifloc, these nuts can be inserted and removed anywhere along the track. In addition to the increased compatibility, these channel nuts have over 70% more contact area than Rhino-Rack Zwifloc making them a much stronger mounting solution.
