Durable Materials

Bluescope REDCOR® steel is a high-performance weathering steel specifically engineered to withstand harsh outdoor environments. It contains alloying elements such as copper, chromium, and nickel, which help form a stable, protective oxide layer on the surface when exposed to the atmosphere. This rust-like patina not only gives REDCOR® steel its distinctive, earthy appearance but also acts as a barrier that significantly slows further corrosion. Unlike regular carbon steel, which can deteriorate rapidly when exposed to moisture, REDCOR® steel self-seals and becomes more durable over time, making it a low-maintenance and long-lasting material.

Support Tabs

Nomad Fire Pits (Nomad, Nomad+, NomadX, NomadX+) feature unique support tabs which significantly strengthen the design. The end panels are supplied flat and the tabs are easily bent using a large flathead screw driver. These tabs prevent the side panels from warping and creating a gap where coals can fall through.

Accessories

All TRC Concepts Fire Pits have been designed around a core range of accessories.

• Experience has proven cast iron to be the superior cooking surface. The Nomad, Adventurer and Explorer Fire Pits will fit a standard 3 burner cast iron hot plate both lengthways or across the fire pit. The Nomad & NomadX Fire Pits will also fit a standard 2 burner cast iron hot plate across the fire pit.

• For those who prefer grilling, a stainless steel grill is available. It will fit lengthways or across on all models and can even fit next to a cast iron hot plate for the complete cooking surface.

• Camp Oven Supports are available for those who wish to use a camp oven, billy or frying pan and you can fit two camp oven supports next to a hot plate or grill.

• The Nomad, Adventurer and Explorer Fire Pits will accomodate a rotisserie and optional mounting kits are available to raise the rotisserie.

• Australian Made canvas carry bags.
